The Young Mums Coffee Club

Pregnant mums can join our YMCC, the young mums (and dads) coffee club to share the joy and trials of pregnancy, birth and as their children grow, a weekly (or more) play group as infants become toddlers and form childhood friendships that sometimes last a lifetime.

The Cottage provides the venue, and if someone donates a great coffee machine, a donations cup to keep the coffee beans, tea bags and fresh milk in the kitchen.

The coffee club is for preschool children. For working mums, they can arrange a rotating schedule where other mums share child minding. 

When the children “graduate”, The Cottage supports a wide range of suitable activities.

To be clear, this is not run as a business, but as a community resource. The parents run their own groups with the support of the volunteers and trustees that keep the venue operational.
